The generator set operator must take responsibility for the care of the generator set during its use. The following are some rules that need to be followed by the operator, so that the generator set can provide you with the best service. The operator must operate according to the following regulations during the use of the unit, especially within the first 100 working hours, so that the generator set can obtain the longest service life.
Operation
■ Run the generator set in the 75% load range for as long as possible.
■Avoid generator set running at idle speed for a long time or working at maximum power for more than 5 minutes.
■Cultivate the habit of closely watching the instrumentation of the generator set during operation, and reduce the load immediately if the temperature of the engine oil reaches 120°C or the temperature of the coolant exceeds 88°C.
■During the break-in period, check the engine oil level every 10 hours.
■ The fuel of the generating set must use domestic "0" or "----10" light diesel oil that meets the performance of the national standard (GB252).
The engine oil should be the engine oil recommended by the manufacturer (15W/40CD, CE, CF, CH, etc.)
■After starting, the car should be warmed up at idle speed or under the working condition of no more than 1000r/min until the oil pressure in the main oil passage is stable.
■When starting, if the fire cannot be ignited within 30 seconds. To wait until two minutes before starting.
■It is required to idle for 3-5 minutes after starting: After the diesel engine is started, it takes a while to re-establish the oil film between the crankshaft and the bearing, between the piston and the cylinder liner, and the most suitable gap between the moving parts is only when the engine temperature reaches a certain level. Timing can work normally, so at the beginning of starting, you can't rush to pull up high power, high torque or high speed to avoid piston biting in the cylinder or bearing dry friction.
■Before parking, please unload first, then run without load for 1-2 minutes and idle for 3-5 minutes, mainly to let the lubricating oil take away the heat from the combustion chamber, bearings and oil seals; The possibility of bearing and oil seal seizure is high.
■If any abnormal phenomenon is found during the operation of the unit, stop the generator set immediately for inspection. Such as: sudden drop in oil pressure, abnormal sound, etc.
■For the standby generator set, the engine should be started and run at least once a month (about half an hour).
■Before starting the generator set each time, the engine oil level, cooling water level, etc. must be checked.
■The battery of the standby unit should be charged regularly, and the liquid level of the battery should be checked at the same time.
■It is strictly forbidden to remove the battery while the unit is running.
